The website www.candlemaster.eu is operated by the company Candle United d.o.o. (hereinafter also Candle United), Dunajska cesta 136, 1000 Ljubljana, registration number: 9532218000, tax number: SI 66891051, which is also the provider of electronic commerce services (hereinafter also the seller or Candle United).
Candle United operates in accordance with the applicable regulations of the Republic of Slovenia, in particular with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot-1), the recommendations of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-2), and the Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-2).
The general terms and conditions govern the operation of the online store, the rights and obligations of the user and the store, and regulate the business relationship between the store and the customer.
The buyer (hereinafter also referred to as the customer, user, consumer) is a natural or legal person who orders or pays for the delivery service of products through the online store candlemaster.eu.
When the customer data also includes data about a legal entity, it is considered that the buyer is a legal entity, and the natural person whose data is entered is considered as the authorized representative of the legal entity.
As a buyer, the person who orders and pays for the product is considered, while the recipient is the person to whom the product is delivered and may be different from the buyer.
The buyer is bound by the general terms and conditions that are valid at the time of purchase (placing an online order). The user is notified of the general terms and conditions each time they place an order and confirms their familiarity with them by placing the order.
Prices
Prices at the time of delivery are the same as the prices at the time of placing the order.
All prices are expressed in the Slovenian national currency, euros (€), and include VAT.
Prices do not include delivery costs, which are calculated separately.
The order value and shipping cost are visible in the price list on the order page and in the email you receive after order confirmation. We reserve the right to errors in the description, price, and delivery time.
Candle United reserves the right to change prices without prior notice.
Payment methods
Consumers can pay for products ordered on the website using the following methods: cash on delivery, PayPal, Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard), or by bank transfer.
In the case of cash on delivery, you hand the money to the postal worker or courier upon receiving the package. For prepayments (with PayPal, bank transfer, or credit card), the delivery service should not charge you anything, neither the purchase amount nor any additional commission.
On the payment service provider’s website, the consumer will enter the payment card details. If the transaction is successful, the consumer will return to the candlemaster.eu website with a notification that the fund reservation has been successfully completed.
For security reasons, the consumer’s payment card details are visible only to the payment service provider as the card processor, so the entire charging process is carried out on the payment service provider’s website. The payment card data is never available to Candle United. When entering payment card details, confidential information is transmitted over a secure (encrypted) network.
The ordered products will be shipped the same or the next working day, but no later than 7 days after receiving the order.
Order
Products are ordered optionally using menus and filling out electronic forms on www.candlemaster.eu.
The sales contract between the store and the customer is concluded in the online store at the moment when the store sends the customer the first electronic message about the status of their order (with the subject: Order Confirmation).
From that moment on, all prices and other purchase conditions are fixed and apply to both Candle United and the customer.
As a customer, the person with the details provided when placing the order is considered. Subsequent changes to customer data are not possible. The sales contract (i.e. the first electronic message about the status of the order) is stored in electronic form on the store’s server.
The order is considered as paid:
– Cash on delivery – when we receive the order confirmation
– PayPal payment – when we receive confirmation from PayPal
– Bank transfer – when the payment amount is visible in our bank account
– Credit card payment – when we receive pre-authorization confirmation.
Cancellation of purchase
The buyer can voluntarily withdraw from a partial or complete purchase at any time before the dispatch of the goods by notifying us in writing at our email address candlemaster.eu@gmail.com.
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot), Candle United also accepts a withdrawal from the order within 14 days from the day of dispatch or receipt in the store and applies only to online purchases. If the customer decides to withdraw from the order during this period and notifies us in writing, Candle United will refund the purchase amount, minus the delivery cost. Prior to this, the customer must return the received products to the company’s headquarters in any way and at their own expense.
The buyer and/or recipient of the products must not use the products unrestrictedly until the contract is withdrawn. The buyer or recipient may only inspect and test the items to the extent necessary to determine their actual condition. The products must be returned in their original packaging and quantity and must not be damaged in any way, and all original purchase documents (invoice, warranty certificate, delivery note, etc.) must be enclosed. The buyer and/or recipient are responsible for any decrease in the value of the goods if the decrease is a result of handling that is not necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
Candle United will refund the funds by transferring them to the customer’s transaction account within 8 days of receiving the properly returned goods, in the case of cash or bank transfer purchases, or in the same manner as the payment was made in the case of other forms of payment.
If the customer does not comply with the aforementioned conditions, Candle United unfortunately cannot accept a unilateral withdrawal from the purchase contract. In this case, Candle United will redeliver the goods to the customer at their own expense.
We do not accept goods returned via mail with cash on delivery.
The purchase process is extremely simple and involves only a few steps. Using the optional menu and search field, you can browse through the product offerings. After selecting all the products, you can see a complete overview of the order with prices, tax, payment method information, and delivery information. The final step is to place the order.
Before making a purchase, the customer has the opportunity to review the contents of the order. In the order form, it is possible to check at any time before ordering:
– Name, surname, and address of the buyer
– Phone number and email address of the buyer
– Type of ordered goods (item)
– Quantity of ordered goods
– Order price
– Shipping costs
Once you place the order, an automatic order confirmation with all the necessary details for your own records will be sent to your email address.
Changing an order
The buyer can cancel or modify their order by placing a new order with new details on the website, and by sending a request to cancel the order to the email address candlemaster.eu@gmail.com.
The buyer can also cancel or modify the order by phone if it has not been shipped yet.
Personal data and legal capacity
By accepting the terms of use, the buyer declares that all the information provided is true and complete, that they are legally capable, authorized to use a credit card, and that no known obstacles are preventing them from ordering and purchasing products in the online store.
Following the privacy statement and data security, Candle United only collects basic data necessary to fulfill obligations. You can read the privacy statement on the Privacy Statement page.
To place a valid order and purchase a product, the person placing the order must be 18 years of age or older.
